Girona hammered Osasuna 4-0 in La Liga opener

In a convincing season opener, Girona thrashed Osasuna 4-0 at the Estadi Montilivi on Tuesday.

Cristhian Stuani netted a brace, opening the scoring in the 15th minute and adding another in the 80th to seal the victory.

Striker Ivan Garcia made it 2-0 in the 37th minute, and youngster Aleix Garcia rounded off the scoring in the 61st.

The result moves Girona up to third in the La Liga table, while Osasuna languishes at the bottom after a disappointing start to the campaign.
